Got a fullish grid. Anyone got anything for the last one across? Something GAP? Got to do the end game now

Can you give the clue?

the word play may indicate a letter too many or too few or there may be a spelling mistake in the definition!

All I can come up with is Grey Seal
(it has 'eg ale' in it, 'seal' could be closure - but that's all I can see).

50a crown cap,not sure of wordplay yet apart from 'cap' is scottish bowl

I'm still struggling with this one! Can someone tell me whether the extra/missing letters and misprints should be read as three separate messages or are they all lumped together as one set taken in clue order?

No need to separate out extra/missing letters or misprints. All rolls into one message (33 letters). Begins "pub...." ends"..ket"
