A dun is one who nags for money. Dun is the name given to some brown horses.

And yet, post 3 had me convinced that Pangen was right, but pangen is in Chambers as "a hypothetical unit of living matter" which doesn't seem to fit the clue.

Could someone explain "gunnera" - perhaps I'm just dense! The "gun-" and "-n-" are OK but "-era" ?? and FSB ??
