I've only just started, wally, but it looks more difficult than usual.

Aren't there two possible final letters for 18ac? (Pity the letter is unchecked.)

Looks like you are the first to post. I struggled with 20d but now have it. The definition is at the centre if that helps

I have finished it and yes chrise 18ac could have one of two finishing letters but I have gone for the one that describes the subject

"sm" is probably right, but "st" would make it an adjective - also just about valid, I think.

I've just checked my spelliing for 24a and I had the last two letters in the wrong order, so 20d is now fixed.
