My husband paid for one of the trebles at St Thomas the Martyr in Oxford. I think he saw it as his memorial, since it is engraved with his name, and I guess that's what it now is.

My younger son was the first to ring it. Unfortunately the press were there and filmed him. Only one boy from his school saw it on the local news but that was enough for him to be teased for years. If you do something just a tiny bit different.....
