13 down, 10 letters 'Wandering on the path,taking in lake event'

I have these letters :
-E-T-T-L-N
It's either pentathlon (ie.event) or heptathlon. Both have path, but I can't see the name of a lake in the remaining letters, or perhaps ref to taking in. Any ideas please?

It's an anagram of "on the path" including L for lake.
