I can't get the anagram of see or set which fits the spaces.
E-O-E-E-S. Can anyone help please? Much appreciated .

A see is a diocese.

The clue including definition would help, but if it's an anagram of 'see or set' where would the M come from?

It isn't listed in Chambers, but EROTESES could be the plural of Erotesis - a rhetorical question.

From Wiktionary...Chambers doesn't specify the plural.
