It isn't listed in Chambers, but EROTESES could be the plural of Erotesis - a rhetorical question.

Thanks Bullfrog. I thought of that but like you couldn't find it listed as plural. But it must be correct? Rhetorical question!!!

From Wiktionary...Chambers doesn't specify the plural.

erotesis (plural eroteses)

(rhetoric) A figure of speech whereby a question is asked in confident expectation of a negative answer.
