I think the answer is SEATBELT.
I would have thought it was 2 words and I am not sure where "group" comes in.

Hi Colin,
I agree with Paul about this, the whole thing seems
pretty tenuous. SEAT BELT according to the gospel
of Chambers and Collins is two words. I can't
think of anything else though.

Group = Set, inc. a = seat.
Hit = belt. I agree two words though.

Thanks to all of you for your help. I guessed set had somethingto do with it, but didn't spot belt for hit. Just hope I can catch thelast post. It has to be dated to-day at latest,
