Think of children's books!

1. "Catch" is definition; you need a synonym for "finished" for the 1st half; inside is buried an Ancient Greek goddess!
2. Think of the most famous creation (probably) of the author alluded to in 16d: the first part is disdainful, the second is a synonym of "support".

Yes, I enjoyed it very much, but it was a bit easy for a prize, wasn't it? (about 25 minutes worth - I did a lot of the downs first, then 11ac was obvious and the acrosses fell into place - last was 23).

Exactly the same here, but if you didn't cotton on early I imagine it can be very frustrating (as always)!

Lovely weather here too, but cold - I'm fit enough again for golf, but frosty ground makes it problematic.
