Well all,
I've realised that we may have a miscalculation with The Joint Effort publication.
If we go with the normal run of things, this will mean that the December grid will come out towards the end of November - beginning of December, then the next publish will be the end of december - beginning of January for the January grid, so this means we won't have a Christmas special.
With this in mind, I have a proposal to put forward.
I have already designed a really good grid with 84 clues and if you're all keen enough to get involved again this week, we could have this grid ready for around the 19th-20th of this month and then we could have that polished off by the end of the month which gives us time to prepare a Christmas special to be published around the 23rd of December. We could then pick it up as normal towards the end of January for the start of next year.
It means we'll do three crosswords instead of two over December and January with the Christmas special being in the middle at the right time.

What do you guys think?

If I get feedback from our regulars to go ahead, then I'm ready to send clue words out ASAP.
I would like it if some extra forum regulars would get involved this time because there is plenty of clues to go around.

Thanks, Les40

That's great, five interested is a good start, I will see how we stand by tomorrow and then start allocating words tomorrow afternoon/night.
