That must have been difficult for you, rambler- most admirable. I'll skip the kissypoos but send along congratulations on reaching such an advanced age.

I went to the village library yesterday and I was pressed to fill in yet another survey - at the end you were asked to tick a box relating to age; I was in the last box, so to speak.

Already selecting a box...

rambler i can't believe you are 71 from your contributions, and i don't know why, (perhaps the picture for phillip) i thought you were so much younger. well done anyway.

Had you told us in time for me to make you a cake, rambler, I don't think I could have resisted a beautiful lawn (made with green dried coconut on a green base) with just the odd molehill-though quite how they could have been distinguished from even less welcome heaps, I'm not sure
Perhaps I'd have modelled a mole as well...
