Yes, Lusty would fit if 'Affirm (a faith)' is Profess (not Protect as I had earlier).

I found this one really difficult, some of the answers I had never heard of, I did not finish it but now I have the crossword forum I can ask for help

You will be very welcome, globo. Remember to give the full clue, the number of letters, and any letters placed, as helpers would not necessarily have the crossword. Missing letters read more easily as ? than - (e.g. M?S???G rather than M-S---G)

No. 5886 is much easier, no lookups required in this one.
