can you please tell me how did you know the answers is Simon from the clue given , because i thought simple simon is someone who is not clever ?

"Simon says" is a children's game, nothing to do with "Simple Simon". The idea is that you carry out any instructions preceded by "Simon says", but not any other instructions.
