I didn't mean to seem as if I hadn't attempted to solve this quiz; I like to follow comments as they are posted and praise anyone who can add intelligent comments/ answers as the solutions are unfolded.
Its just that I have been off for a weeks walking holiday, away from any computer to keep up with correspondence so thanks to all who have contributed.
