Joy's plant, left by bishop (8 letters). If my crossers are correct the only likely answer appears to be "euphoria" (meaning joy, I suppose). Can anyone explain where the "left by bishop" bit comes in, or am I barking up several wrong trees..?

There's a plant called euphorbia - bishop's left!
