Amputee?

I assume the letters are SCOYBG so far...
Thought it might be something-boys but with the C and G I don't think so.

I can see 'pu' for the 'reported moan it stinks' part, but....

Not amputee Bullfrog...."Final controversy" is an anagrind btw.

They may not like to be called these but it seems to be technically correct as far as I understand it.

The reported moan is two of the letters Aristo has correctly put forward as the anagram fodder, "it stinks" relates to another two.
