I think 'of monarch's reign' is regnal and 20d is 'lilt'. I think the girl's name is eileen or aileen but I don't know what 1d is?

Gigi46 and andyh. Thank you both. had tala instead of lilt. All makes sense now. 1d clue was Polynesian islander. I had 'Hawaiian' then changed it to 'Tahitian'. Thanks to all for help.
