For this one you'll need to solve at least 10 crossword clues. I didn't make them up (well, one is mine), they are culled from the greatest classic compilers, like Araucaria, Bunthorne, Crispa, Dante, Enigmatist, Fawley, Gemini, Hendra, Icarus and Janus (to name but 10).
In each case I need the number of letters in the answer. To make it a little easier the answers start with A, B, C etc in order. To make it even easier I'm giving 2 sets of clues, so if you can't do one particular clue you might be able to do the other. The second set (of course) also has answers starting with A, B, C etc and the same number of letters in the corresponding answer. So if you DO solve the first - you can try the second as a double-check.
So off we go with the first set:
A = Is not commonly found in saints.
B = Very young child born in a compartment.
C = Firm agreement.
D = Preceding by tens, it could be claimed.
E = Make off to the east with long strides.
F = Warning shout to animal ancestor.
G = Eat, or talk turkey.
H = Bones removed from my chum, Eric.
I = One nice group of Britons Rome found revolting.
J = Spray is not spraying - dump.
And the second:
A = A grand spot for a mausoleum.
B = Bishop, off colour, makes a statement.
C = Chanel, a crazy person, may get shy.
D = After a month, grass is laid down.
E = Actor in Oedipus Rex (tragedy).
F = PS: school also taking female back.
G = Darling daughter has added elegance.
H = Was entangled in her rope.
I = It may make a topping sweet.
J = Prizes from a knave's top arrangement.
