Open On-Screen Keyboard by clicking the Start key or Picture of the Start key, clicking All Programs, clicking Accessories, clicking Ease of Access, and then clicking On-Screen Keyboard. (wasn't that easy?)

or

Click Windows Help & type "On-Screen Keyboard" in the search bar.

The keyboard displayed should match what your physical keyboard keys will produce.
Click Shift to show the other characters.

As mentioned before, also check your settings in Control Panel \ Clock, Language, and Region

Worst case, copy & paste from:
All Programs / Accessories / System Tools / Character Map

Isn't Windows a wonderful OS?

Hope I didn't mess up the HTML tags.
