Salisbury, yes greenhouse is full, harvesting tomatoes they do taste better than shop bought.When we took our allotment No1 the council very kindly rotavated it for us, this of course cut all the couch grass and bindweed into lots of little pieces which immediately started sprouting up all over the place. In the end I dug and sieved each bed,hard work but some of the finds were astounding.
plot 2 came about because the lady on the ajoining plot found it too hard and jacked it in, so I phoned the council and asked if we could have it. As we had made an impression on the first one they came back and said yes. Its so gratifying when things grow from seed and the taste is something else.
