andyc, sometimes just need a nudge, sometimes it's just too obscure and i go round in circles.

To answer your question more specifically Chris, I usually answer where I can unless there is a request for hint only. Personally I find it quite difficult to give appropriate further clues without giving the game away.

Personally speaking, I usually want the answer rather than clue as by the time I consult this forum I am well and truly fed up with the clue! And can I say andyc, how much I appreciate your contributions, you can always be relied on!
