Magworth you obviously have a big craving for it! It was one of my Dad's favourites.

I've heard of Lardy cake and got the clue but am now wondering what it tastes like and ingredients, may give it a try, do love cake.

I think lardy cake might be a Northern dish, tho` I had it when a child in S.Wales. It`s like a big tea-cake if my memory is right. made with lard instead of butter perhaps. there might be a recipe on google. M.

No it's from down south - Wiltshir, my Oh is from Dorset and his mum used to make it!
