Not a problem, andyc - posts are always crossing - counting typing time and uploading time, it could be almost a minute between looking at the original post and seeing your own answer!

Thanks emrach. The hotel was lovely, and we had a room with a fantastic view over the river and up the valley. Unfortunately the walking could have been better; it was so wet underfoot that it wasn't a lot of fun, even when it wasn't raining. We enjoyed ourselves very much, though.

Sounds good even with the weather. Not been on the forum much as I had a moment of madness and decided to lift carpets and sand floorboards - wish I hadn't started as I ache all over. Glad you had a good time
