Would harsh sound heard identify the bird?

I think this is WOODRUFF but that is a plant/herb.

Any comments.

Hi Des, I put Woodruff, think he is an Ornithologist and would therefore identify the bird ! I think

Sorry Des! I thought you wrote "is it a bird". Of course you knew it's a plant. Can't find a ref to woodruff being a bird anywhere.

Many thanks for your help. Diana is right. Wiki lists a few Woodruffs as ornithologists. A bit tenuous don't you think.
