I've only just started but 35a is an anagram

As is 14 across? Sweet.

Completely stumped by 12A
"Favouring very good food-grain (5)
I have PRO? and there are only four spaces in the grid instead of the indicated 5
Any help or insight is welcome

Germy posted earlier on both forums to say that 12a should be 5 spaces in thr grid

Proso, a form of millet? (assume grid is misprinted)

I also think it's PROSO...and it may be in line with his 6D clue with the extra O being picked up from 8D, NOSEAN :-)
