Thank you mrs trellis, rambler and harrhy, they sound good but cannot find Raith on my map.Could you tell me where it is? This had been my first thought.

Hi angie, according to Wikipedia, "Raith itself is not actually a settlement". So you may be better off with rambler's Goole suggestion.

I would have thought that any place where people live could be a settlement,so Raith could still be classed as one I presume!
