Is it okay to ask for an explaination on peer review if you don't get it ??

Yes - in fact it's probably a favour to the setter, because if you don't see it, others won't as well, and so not vote for it.

No I just didn't understand the clue one of many, I google etc but just sometimes - hey lets be honest - don't get it and am left wanting to - if you get what I mean
