I think 5b is screens, rhyming with greens, but I can't see how to get screens from the clue "vets covers".

Also 8a Heart - Earth (6,2,5) to rhyme with Till Death Us Do Part.

Any help greatly appreciated.

vets as in "checks out an applicant" - i.e "screens" - "covers" more obvious

change of heart.

if change of heart is correct, i think just the word, Earth, might have made a better clue.
