In the clue for 'Just one note issued by bank' Is the 'E' the 4th or 5th letter Brendan.
I keep thinking 'Tenner', sounds like Tenor

Thanks Les40, i was miles out on both. I'm wondering if the last one might be 'MERELY' (Just) But can't really see why.

Les40, those clues were all interlinked, so the letters are now _E_E_Y

One note = Me (or mi) + To bank on is to RELY

Merely = Just - Def
