Why is the name missing in last post slot next to ?thought this might be of interest

They probably got shrunk just a little too much, until they disappeared altogether

I'm bereft, does that mean she doesn't belong to me any more? Bob being my daughter and soon leaving for uni------hey that's cheaper.

It was me bobs mum - it's happened to me before and I know why/how it happens (although I'd better not say after all that's happened today) - but I'm not sure I can make it happen on purpose. Probably just as well.......

Oh don't bobs mum, my daughter will be off in September too (grades permitting). Doesn't bear thinking about.

I do know what u mean, my son who is now 25 left home for the first time when he was 18, i cried for months. He came back lots (with dirty washing!) he matured and became more rounded -- i still cried, I will howl when Bob goes just as i did when she went traveling (back home safe). I know its no consolation but sit back and think what a wonderful job we have done. Ps one of the reasons i got a dog -- empty nest syndrome. Mums rule!! and they always want yr roast dinners XX
