I was also contacted by Norah who asked me to explain how I had protected my name.
I told her and she said in no way was this to be divulged on the forum. I apologised for having added to the thread and I suggested it was deleted to avoid any further suggestions. She agreed that was wise. The edit button now shows no facility for changing username, in view of recent attempts to retrospectively change identities.

Does this mean usernames are now safe from cloning?

I think it best not to ask anymore until a message is posted by Admin. which should be soon.

Just to let everyhone know that we are addressing the various issues raised recently regarding cloning, impersonation etc. It is intended that new user names will be lower case only with no spaces or punctuation allowed. Existing user names will continue as before. A set of Rules will be posted on the Forum in which impersonators have been warned that their computer will be banned so they will be unable to use the Forum in any user name. There is only so much we can do, let’s hope peace is now restored!
