'End of Play' represents STUMPS at 6a.

The two characters without 6a ( I.e stumps or 'have no legs' are housed (live) in A DUSTBIN
( 2 words, 8 letters)

I had previously thought that the character 'unable to sit' was reversed (standing) in 20d but I'm having second thoughts whether 2d should be highlighted!

Surely 20d would be standing on his head ?

One could argue that, as he can't sit down, he has to stand "up".

I take the more straightforward view that, as the character cannot sit, he has to "stand up", that is be erect, not upside down.
