Can anyone explain the second half of COLORADO if it's the answer to 26a:"Business ladies take Circle Line to river" (8). I get Co + L + O but not the "rado" bit ---or am I on the wrong track?

CO + RAD (line in a circle short for radius) in LOO (ladies)
