keep your sunday best name solely for that- never edit it. Sallyw edited her name once and I guessed she had and promptly took it. I gave it back to her of course.

use a secondary registered name if you want to edit. if you don't want to leave a trail (and it can be easily followed by anyone) use a new one.

talking of etiquette, wouldn't it be nice if third parties didn't butt into somebody elses little joke until it was completed. I'm sure julian and sandy would agree with that.

pastille. I think so, yes. at least since they brought a registration system. before that you could be anybody you wanted to be every post. it wasn't unknown for people to use your own name when replying to you. it got confusing sometimes.
