rambled, how discourteous of you. I would have thought you would have volunteered to change your own user name.
Especially as Rumbler knows that proper names start in uppercase.

Sorry! That was meant to start - rambler. But I'm shot when it comes to using predictive text :0)

rambler - I'm happy to change my username, though I can't see where to do that on the forum website. Does anyone know how? I might call myself "Bumbler" as that would probably be quite appropriate for my image! I hope that name or similar isn't already in use - it's not so easy to check without ploughing back through pages of past posts. Or have I missed something?

rossim - thank you for that info. It worked.... because as you can see I'm now "Bumbler" instead of "Rumbler". I'll try to live up to my new name.

Thank you pastille. I do enjoy the site...even if I don't contribute much. There are some clever, witty, helpful and kind-hearted people on here and never a dull moment!

Bumbler, not grumbler, welcome, I too keep a low profile 'cause they're all so witty and clever on this site and I don't like to show my intermittent memory lapses. will confide, whenever dementia sets in. My mum 94, thankfully 'passed on' now but hid it for as long as she could and then i'd find her crossword with semi gobblygook in the grid that just broke my heart.
