1ac Artificial tooth I intend to put in mount (7)

I think it must be IMPLANT (which could be an artificial tooth), but I don't see how the rest works. Is it just a sloppy clue? Can anyone explain it properly?

I'm finding today's hard work - I may be back for more help!

'Implant does seem right - 'i'= I,'mt' = mount, with 'plan'.

I M PLAN T
