Heaven forfend that a crossword should make reference to natural processes by the amusing use of euphemisms!

It isn't as though the clue used an acronym for the cleaning product famously tagged as the Finest Universal Cleanser Known (advertised with the strapline If Daz won't whiten it and Omo won't brighten it, F*** it!).
