Hi greedykite.
I hope you enjoy reading the Guardian - I do. Before I retired the staffroom took several papers, so I could do a comparison every day, and the only one I would resort to in the absence of the Guardian would have to be the Times (though very reluctantly).
It's a pity that the companion Sunday paper - the Observer - has, in my opinion, markedly decreased in quality and interest; indeed we very rarely buy a Sunday paper at all nowadays.

Indeed, but retired now for nearly three years.

Did you move to France on retirement, or teach there?

Was an assistant in the South in the Sixties,retired here 3 yrs ago after buying the house in 1998.Spent most of my time in Germany, but also London, Switzerland & Greece.The best is being here!
