Cheers mamya,

I was struggling with 20 down and was thinking Trojan, but thanks for Trajan, I had RIDE for 1 across, however, I can't get 17 across which is

Where I worked on a couple of classical couplets (8) C-E-I-E-

Also, I'm still a bit short on APACE for 22 Down.

Mean to house old man quickly (5) A-A-E

old man = Pa, where is the 'Ace' ?

Concentrated more on the Jumbo Cryptic this week and have nearly finished if any help needed by anyone

Hi Les
I think your 17ac is the name of a very short verse form (named after its inventor) - partial anagram + "c" for couple?

Thanks Chris, got it now, I had never heard of it, it isn't too much different from a limerick really.

Thanks Sudokulover, i've heard the slang 'Sick' for something that's 'Ace' but never 'Ace' for something that's 'wicked' or 'sick' maybe

So all the kids are 'getting down man' with opposite meanings of words, and with all the 'text' talk aswell, I believe the English language is going to skip a generation.

We shall become pariahs of youthful jive talk and any hope of securing a future for the beautiful language. Dig in guys, we aint goin' nowhere - reeespect!

Oh my God, I'm being drawn in... HELP!
