Finished (probably), but a few I'm not happy about. Two main ones are 2dn "Soldier in full gear that creeps around at night (5)"
I have K?A?T so I've put in "krait". This is RA in KIT, but I don't see the relevance of "at night" (it's an Indian snake)
17ac "Black market trader's location (5)"
I have ?I?C? so I've put "pitch", but I'm not convinced.
Any suggestions?

Perhaps Kraits are mainly nocturnal?
A market 'Pitch' is what the traders hire - the place for their stall.

Sorry - not me - I've given up sending them in, in fact, after years of unsuccessful entries.
Thanks for your help, both of you.

According to wikipedia, kraits are nocturnal, so that fits too :)

Thanks for the tip - I looked too. That's rather interesting because reptiles on the whole are not nocturnal; being cold-blooded, they need the sun to warm them up into activity.

They must be equipped with solar power storage units, which charge up during the day and keep them going overnight. Clever things!
