Baffled by this one: 21ac Tasteful circles restricting one with no time for medical openings (8)I have ???T?L?E. I'm fairly confident of the letters, but the Quick solve only gives bastille, dentelle and pastille; pastilles might be "tasteful circles" but the answer is not plural

Sorry jws - can't be sure if there is implied punctuation in your response - are you referring to an "anagram solver". If so, I don't know it, and I can't see an anagram in the clue anyway!

the singular form is in quicksolve. try your letters with a 7 letter answer

Thanks jws - got it now. (Found it on Chambers Word Wizard, as your link seemed just to give a blank page.)

Yes - I hadn't spotted that not all plurals end in "s"

Just tried the link and it worked Ok but it can be temperamental. Another problem can be too many possible answers as it has a huge database

I often get a blank page or a hanging page on that site, refreshing (F5) usually solves it straight away
