18a) I put in hasty article, ferociously satirical (8) S-I-T-A-
I think it's a word meaning satirical, but I don't know.
Also, I have a problem with 20d) Pathetic, involving church in devilish practices (7). The only word I can find that fits is EBRIETY, but it doesnt fit the clue.
As ever, any help most welcome.
