8) A couple of ideas, both probably wrong knowing my luck:

"Red Heat" ('Red Sea' + 'to heat'='to cook').
"The Black Dahlia" ('Black Sea' + 'Delia Smith').

The Sea Cook was the original title of Treasure Island. The cook in question was Long John Silver, which was the title of a 1954 film starring Robert Newton (Aaaaarrrrgghhh, Jim lad!)
