Stuck on 5d - animals say reared on cold island

5d Geckos. I've never seen pinochle spelt without the h, and can't find it on google but it's what I've got too.

Pogle 2, glad you enjoyed it - I didn't very much, but wouldn't life be dull if we all liked the same things?

Have ARENA for 12d but not sure why.

thanks salamis - 'allot' means that ELYSEE which is what I had for 3d is wrong...
I think it's ARENA because it is 'area' (sphere) with an 'N'

presumably 3d is CLOSET...
