hiking, king dropped = hi

put out by it - anag of put upt hehill.

should have put,
in agony, - hi in hell = hehill

is grenadine but apart from it being a drink can't see why

last of beer,= r, with 'needing a'.
drunk means anagram of.

Anagram of "needing a" and r (last letter of beer)
