help please on 32d "Play darts,perhaps--and drink!" (4,3,5)
36d "Try it out to reserve seat number, manually recorded" (11)
and 38d "Flat sausage ending in pan,big,sliced at each end" (10)

36 down is typewritten. I'm struggling with the other two. Thought 32 down could be "test the water" but can't see why, so maybe not.

The others are BEND THE ELBOW and HORIZONTAL

The HOIZONTAL one is a particularly nice clue.

The sausage is CHORIZO, end of pan is N and big is TALL. Put them all together and slice each end gives horizontal which is flat.
