5D - MA (arts master) + LL (pounds)

14D - DR embraced by QUAIL (bird) + LE (the foreign)

Please don't apoligise I am only grateful for your help. I did see the connections when I read your reply. I saw the MA but didn't register the LL for pounds. Anyway thank you again.
