Apart from me we could manage with another 15 setters, so that would give you 3 words each, I am setting the 2 X 21 letter words and could pick up the 3 left over.
We have 50 clues to set
15 setters with 3 clues each = 45 + Me with 5 clues = 50 (Target)
At the moment we have 12 (still waiting for Paul) which will make 13 and me

As AB said, "hidden" is the usual term. Wiki calls it "embedded" but in the text uses "hidden":

The Sunday Times blog didn't have a particular code for that, but probably the best visual representation is to use upper case, e.g.:

Another tip.

The reply box on most sites is rather small. Also, if you hop away & back, the browser might reload the page & you have retype everything. Very annoying.

For a longer post I usually use Wordpad.
You can see the whole thing & it's easier to edit.
You can switch between it & the thread, or tile the windows side by side.
Then paste it into the reply box.

I'm home and going onto emails now to send out your clue words
I am sending out 3 each to 13 setters (39)
I have clued my 2, that leaves 9 left, still waiting for Paul's confirmation for involvement and can accommodate 2 more setters, if no more interest, I will clue the rest or send an extra word out to a few of you.

LOL. Our library sends an auto-response to suggestions for purchase, which reads:
"Thank you for your submission."

I'm always tempted to suggest they add a Java script cartoon of a young lady in leather & net stockings cracking a whip.

I'd probably get banned, or fired.
