Hi jazzgirl, many thanks, I can't see it either, I can see AND moving around NA--D or N--AD but not the word clue for ai or ia.
Maybe someone will help us out.

I knew it was a larva, but just couldn't get the AI. Think I will call it a day now ;)

Larva's fine, and moving around

A1 (ie A one) is "fine" and moving around is the anagram of "and" going around ai - gives N ai ad- another word for larva.

maybe its better to think of a naiad as another word for a nymph, which IS another word for a larva.

Thanks AB, just before you posted (Honestly) I saw that I looked at your answer Al, and seen it as AL, as in gangster DOH,but realised it must be A1 (a-one(fine)), they look the same in type, my fault, thank you very much for helping me and clearing it up. I am learning from all of you each week and clues are coming clearer. You are all a Godsend.
