Hi all
Ide = Fish is kept up the sleeve of all the setters!!
Trouble is - nobody believes a fish could be called IDE!!! ( Nor do I)

Thea, shame on you. you should have more faith. ide (sometimes called orfe) are a coarse fish found in lakes in this country. a sort of carp, bit like a colourless goldfish (but there is a golden variety). easy to catch,grow to about 5 lbs on average. i've caught a couple from the hampshire avon by mistake.
