I'm stuck on 4 down.

"Non-vocal boxing fix" (7)

I have ?u?e?t?. It should be one of the 9 clues lacking definition.

Any help much appreciated

I've a combination of "mute" and "set" - I think it's actually a musical instrument (French bagpipe) but might also be a dance?

Thanks. I had musette but thought it was a musical instrument. I should have looked in Chambers where it mentions a gavotte.

Interesting - I looked in my older Chambers edition and it only mentioned the bagpipes. I did think I had heard of a dance form, though, so I was surprised.

the dictionary for this site only mentions an instrument. Wikipedia only mentions an instrument. Wiktionary also mentions a dance
